What are the requirements for declaring the pre-major?

You may declare as a pre-major in Journalism before the posted deadline for declaration each quarter by attending one of the scheduled advisement sessions. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required to declare a pre-major. Transfer students and freshmen must complete one quarter of classes at WWU to establish a GPA before being considered for the pre-major. Currently enrolled WWU students must show evidence of the required 2.5 GPA.
