What are the requirements for connecting to the boats power?
You should take a good supply back from the battery / distribution panel, fused, with good stout cable (cross-sectional area requirement depends on length – we can do the calculations for you if required, but it’s not possible to have cable that’s too thick!) routed over the shortest practical distance and then wired in carefully to the laptop power adapter as supplied. The same applies to any external screen supplied with the system. Please note: do not just wire into a cigarette-type outlet as this may well be inadequate.
