What are the requirements for Computer (Technical) Phone Support jobs IN INDIA?
Based on a search of multiple Indian job sites, the requirements for computer (technical) phone support jobs in India is the same as equivalent jobs in the US: • Fluent in English (or whatever language targeted) • Computer skills (some list “basic” and some “extensive”) What that generally seems to mean in practice is able to more-or-less speak the language, ability to turn on the computer, and ability to read a checklist. Other than the occasional language issues with Indian support, I’ve actually had much worse support from phone tech support in the US than from India.
