Other appliances, such as microwaves and refrigerators, are allowed if they follow these requirements: • Microwave: Only one microwave is allowed in a room. It must not exceed 1,000 watts. • Refrigerator: Refrigerators cannot be more than 4 cubic feet and must not exceed 200 watts. It must be noncombustible, nontoxic, and use non corrosive refrigerator compressive gas such as freon. • Microwave/Refrigerator Combination: Combination units must not exceed 1200 watts. • All appliances must be Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. approved.
