What are the requirements for adopting an infant?
A home study document, also referred to as a Family Profile, completed by an approved agency is required. The minimum requirements are that the applicants are a childless, married couple, over the age of 21. Among other requirements are positive references, physical examination and criminal record checks, child abuse clearances and FBI fingerprint histories.
