What are the requirements for admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program?
• American College Test (ACT) composite score of 16 or higher. • Basic computer skills prior to admission to the program. This can be satisfied through successful completion of the MTC Technology Skills test. • A minimum 2.0 grade point average (GPA) for recent course work from an educational institution. • A 20-hour documented observation experience with an OTR/L or a COTA. Requirements 5, 6 and 7 must be met by the time of enrollment in the first Occupational Therapy Assistant course.
