What are the requirements for a purchase to be a sole source?
There are three requirements for a sole source: 1) Goods/ services offered must be unique. 2) Uniqueness must be substantially related to the intended purpose, use, and performance of the goods/ services sought. 3) The entity seeking to be declared “sole source” must show that other similar goods/ services cannot meet the desired objectives of the entity seeking goods/services.
