The requirements at CSULB are listed below. The credential program at each campus differs, but all programs listed above are accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 1. Seven library media classes completed at CSULB, or equivalencies transferred from another accredited credential or MLS program: LI 510: Selection of Materials and Information LI 520: Information Literacy and Reference Services LI 530A: Library Media Materials for Elementary Grades (K-5) LI 530B: Library Media Materials for Secondary Grades (6-12) LI 540: Organization of Materials LI 550: School Library Media Center Management LI 570: Library Media Technologies LI 580: Field Experience in the School Library Media Center (both elementary/MS and HS levels) 2. Required curriculum design and development class (EdP 677 or EdCI 625) .
