What are the Requirements for a Career as a Speech Pathologist?
Speech language pathologists work in a very specialized career, with people who have language and speech problems. Their patients may be children or adults; their patients’ speech problems may be the result of an illness, injury or developmental issues. Speech language pathologists are required to earn a master’s degree and be licensed in their state to practice.
