0

Rotations consist of 1 – 2 month blocks for most patient care experiences. The required patient care experiences include: • Medical ICU (2 month block) • Surgical ICU (2 month block) • Cardiovascular ICU (1 month) • Infectious Disease ICU (1 month) • Emergency Medicine (1 month) • Nutrition Support (1 month x 2 rotations) • Home Parenteral Nutrition (Longitudinal) • Code Blue / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Longitudinal) • Research (Longitudinal) Approximately two months of elective time is scheduled throughout the year to help tailor the residency to meet each resident’s individual goals as well as potentially provide off-site experience.
