What are the relationships between the HITRC and the Regional Extension Centers?
Each Regional Extension Center is a member of a national learning consortium facilitated by the HITRC. All consortium participants share and collaboratively develop best practices, lessons learned, and effective practices for supporting and accelerating the adoption, implementation, and effective use of health IT that allows for the electronic exchange and meaningful use of health information. The HITRC also is developing a series of tools and resources as well as provides training to RECs on using these resources.
