What are the regulations for building a shed?

0

Please consult Section 7-202(B)(4) of the Zoning Ordinance as well as the Code Enforcement Bureau. In general, a building permit is not required for a shed less than 150 square feet. Sheds that are 50 square feet (for semi-detached homes and townhouses) and 80 square feet (for single-family homes) are allowed up to the side and rear property lines. Larger sheds must comply with the applicable setback and open space requirements as delineated in the Zoning Ordinance.
