Batters and base runners must wear a CSA approved (or equivalent) baseball helmet. Therefore, the most number of helmets required would be 5 (batter, runners on 1st, 2nd and 3rd and the on deck batter). Have a variety of sizes so that the helmet fits as snugly as possible. Regularly check helmets for cracks. Dispose of all cracked helmets.
