What are the registration requirements for advanced PhD students?
Once you have passed prelims and chosen a thesis advisor and supervisory committee, the “default” registration expectation is one course, one seminar, and 10 credits of “other stuff”–usually some combination of Math 800 (dissertation), Math 600 (independent study), and other courses.
