Internationally educated Electroencephalography Technologist’s must: • Submit an Application for Assessment. It is important to note that candidates are evaluated based on substantially equivalent qualifications. Therefore, additional training, testing or education program may be a result of the assessment. • Submit all the required documents (found on the ACMDTT website) which will be used to determine qualifications. Candidates must also submit an International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) document evaluation. • Provide evidence of English language proficiency. Once applicants have completed the assessment process and demonstrated substantially equivalent qualifications, they are then required to successfully pass the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (CBERT) certification exam.
