What are the reform efforts designed to do?
The reform efforts are designed to increase the capacity of our teachers to stimulate the mind and increase the potential of each of our students. Teachers must connect their teaching to their learners’ frame of reference and help them connect their new learning to what they bring to the classroom. A focus on student voice enables personalized learning, in which each student must be engaged if instruction is to have a positive impact on student learning.
