Many construction employers accept applications from graduates all year round. However, always check the recruitment literature of the employers you are interested in: some organisations do operate annual recruitment with fixed deadlines. The number of graduate vacancies is often determined by the number and size of the projects the employer has taken on – only the largest players tend to recruit a standard number each year. Formal vacation work experience opportunities tend to be run in the spring and summer, and there are usually fixed deadlines for these.
