What are the recommended steps for creating schedules with LeagueWorks and Diamond Scheduler?
• LeagueWorks recommends that the Divisions, Teams, Venues (Fields), and Field Assignments (field assignments are available in LeagueWorks for Baseball and Softball and LeagueWorks for Little League only), are created within LeagueWorks, and then exported to Diamond Scheduler formatted files (use the Diamond Scheduler Export available on the Import/Export menu of the main Startup window of LeagueWorks). Within Diamond Scheduler use the File/Open menu commands to open the file that has been exported by Leagueworks. After the file is open in Diamond Scheduler, assign Venue (Field) timeslots to the available venues. The next step is to generate the schedule. Once the schedule is complete, use Diamond Scheduler’s “LeagueWorks File Export” option to create a file that can then be imported into LeagueWorks.
