What are the recommended electrode placements for any given condition?
In most cases your clinician or physician will show you where to place electrodes. With TENS devices it is common to place the electrodes on or along the never path the pain is traveling. With galvanic devices in many cases the electrodes are placed on the area of swelling and pain and the dispersive electrode is placed away from the injured area (usually a large muscle group) on the same side of the body.
