What are the recommendations for feeding a hyacinth chick from day 1?
Our Juvenile formula was developed using Hyacinth Macaws and from day one. Our Neonate has been developed for species that needed a faster emptying easier to digest food like cockatiels. Some breeders utilize the addition of a probiotic like apple cider vinegar and digestive aids like our Avian Enzyme. Adding 10% chopped almonds to the formula several weeks prior to weaning is a good practice for Hyacinths.
