What are the reasons prayer should be allowed in school?
The reason individuals should be allowed to pray at school (Or anywhere else) is the fundamental human right to freedom of speech. The reason prayers should NOT be conducted by any employee of the state while functioning as an employee of the state is the necessity of separation between church and state. The reason students should NOT break into audible prayer in the middle of a classroom setting is that it is disruptive. The reason prayers should NOT be announced over a school intercom is that the state is required to maintain separation between church and state.
By not allowing prayer is showing discrimination against those who would like to pray. not everyone has to participate Look at all the kids who have been shot in school in recent years. This type of behavior began to worsen when prayer was outlawed. There are those who say ” What kind of God would allow that to happen to our school children and why didn’t He stop it. I would say to them, He isn’t allowed in school, remember? he couldn’t be there to stop it. God says. “If my people would call upon my name and repent of their ways, I will heal their land” We need to make that call……………..
