What are the reasons of glaucoma?
A transparent eye liquid is secreted into the eye and this liquid is then absorbed out of the eye ball. This liquid is not related to the lacrima. Imagine that the eye liquid is the water in a tank. When the outlet of the tank is obstructed, the water accumulates in the tank and thus the inner pressure of the tank increases. When the outflow area of the eye is obstructed, the inner pressure increases and this damages the optic nerve.
