What are the reasons for the change in racism, religion, communication, music, role of women over the years?

This is too broad a question. But if I had to pick one reason I’d say War. War was the reason women became more independant. As men were drafted and sent away to fight wars (specifically WW2) women were then given more freedom to work because with so many men gone that was the only way the country would escape complete financial collapse. By the time the War was over and the men came back women were still allowed to work because employers liked the fact that they could pay them less for the same jobs as men. Which thankfully changed with the feminist movement. War is what freed the slaves in the US and spread the great musical influences of the slave culture… (jazz, rock etc) unfortanately the violent lyrics of rap & hip hop also came with that, but that’s besides the point. War and religion have always been intertwined. Half the wars ever fought in the world probably wouldn’t have been in not for Religion swaying the masses.

Racism – > decline Religion -> decline Role of women -> expanded beyond housewife to having a career and becoming more financially independent. Communication -> technology has massively improved. That pretty much sums it up.
