Slow setting in cement is due to salts and chemicals in water sand and aggregate. Cold weather, less cement, high percentage of impurities, adulterated cement and improper water cement ratio. Qick setting of cement is due to addition of low quantity of Gypsum, hot weather condition, high cement fineness.
