What are the reading logs?
Each student has a reading log. We encourage them to read current event materials such as newspapers and magazines. They are required to complete 5 logs each week. They need to write the date, what they read (name of article/magazine) and summarize the reading material in complete sentences. All reading logs are due on Mondays. Students can pick which days they would like to do their logs. These logs will work on their reading skills as well as teach them how to plan their time and work.
