The interest on loans up to Rs. 2 lakhs against NRE fixed deposit accounts will be charged two percent above the rates paid by banks for the concerned deposits. For loans above Rs. 2 Lakhs interest will be charged at Banks PLR(Prime Lending Rate) plus 2% or 2% over the rate of interest allowed on deposits whichever is more.
