Integral is one word that coalesces all the qualities of the optimal conditions for human habitats. Integral means whole, comprehensive, integrated, interconnected, inclusive, all encompassing, vibrant, responsive, adaptive. Integral does not mean fragmented, partial, exclusive, frozen, unchanging.
