If you have completed a minimum of 60 college credits, you can download the substitute teacher application by visiting the Job Opportunities page. The rate of pay for per diem substitutes is $72.00 per day for NYS certified substitutes and $67.00 per day for uncertified substitutes. NYS certified substitutes are eligible for long-term substitute assignments which are paid on the teacher salary schedule.
