You must be 21 years of age or older. However, you don’t have to be 21 to take the Concealed weapons class and be certified for firearm conpertency. You must be a US citizen or a resident. You must be able to demonstrate competency with a firearm. You must never been convicted of a felony, or have a restraining order in force for domestic violence. You must take a Firearm Safety Class given by an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor (such as ours) and receive a Certificate of Completion with the instructor’s signature and the Instructor NRA ID Number on the certificate for your license application. You must be finger-printed and pass Florida State conducted background check.
