What are the qualifications to be come an Entry Level Lacey Police Officer?
A. The following are a list of requirements: US citizen; high school graduate; 21 years of age at time of appointment; possess a Washington State driver’s license, read and write the English language; pass psychological, polygraph, medical and physical agility tests; pass a thorough background investigation (driving record, work history, credit history, conviction/arrest record, reference check, drug history); no previous experience required. However, additional training, college courses, and/or volunteer work in law enforcement is helpful. Q.
