What are the qualifications of the appraisers used by Southwest Financial Services, Ltd.?
A. All appraisers who complete work for SFS are licensed or certified in the state where the subject property is located. SFS appraisers are generally well-qualified based on experience, training and continuing education requirements (as required by licensing laws). Many SFS appraisers are members of recognized national and local appraisal associations. SFS appraisers must be familiar with and comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices and be familiar with and use ”The Appraisal Guide” of FNMA. SFS strongly encourages and supports appraisers with the use of cutting edge appraisal software and hardware technology.
