What are the qualifications for firefighter?
Each department has slightly different qualifications, but for Culver City you need to have received your Firefighter I certificate, have a valid California Driver’s License, have a GED, or graduate from high school, currently work for a paid fire department, or be a reserve (volunteer) firefighter. These qualifications may change without notice so it is best to check with our personnel department prior to applying.
