What are the qualifications Butler Schein Animal Health seeks in its sales candidates?
Butler Schein Animal Health has both “inside sales” opportunities and “outside sales” opportunities. Our “inside” sales personnel are known as Inside Sales Representatives (ISR). We seek candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) with knowledge of animal science or veterinary technology either through course work or animal health-related experience. Candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills and have at least one year of experience in customer service and/or telephone sales. Familiarity with computers is always a plus as is education beyond the high school level. Our “outside” sales personnel are called Territory Managers (TM). We seek candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of experience working in a veterinary or distribution environment.
