0

The purposes of UMRA are to provide useful information to members and to organize meetings approximately once each month during the academic year. Talks on topics of interest to retired U-M faculty and staff (e.g., Medicare, health insurance, U-M retirement benefits, etc.) are presented at several of the meetings, while other gatherings are of a social nature. UMRA also arranges discounted ticket prices each year for a select presentation of the Ann Arbor Civic Theater. • Does UMRA have a Constitution? Yes, and it can be found here. When does UMRA meet? UMRA meetings and social hours are normally held each month during the academic year, on Thursday afternoons. The gatherings always include light refreshments, sliced fruit, cookies, coffee, soft drinks. Social hours begin at 3:00 PM and last until about 5:00 PM. All UMRA members are cordially invited to attend. How can I learn the dates and location of UMRA meetings? Announcements of speakers and of special programs are made in the UMR
