What are the public and private channels in the My profile widget?
Each and every user has two channels to choose from, one public and one private. The channels are used for storing content found with WidSets and interacting with other users. You can store bookmarks in either channel. Your private channel is only visible to you. This is the place to store bookmarks you want to keep private. This is also where you’ll receive personal messages from other users. The public channel is visible to the entire WidSets community. Use the public channel to store bookmarks you want to share publicly and browse other users’ bookmarks to find new content and widgets. All users can comment on items stored in the public channel. Please note that posting to your public channel requires registration with a WidSets username.
