What are the provisions under which I may request a vanity call sign for my primary station?
A. There are three provisions for primary stations: • request-by-list • former holder, and • close relative of former holder now deceased (A “close relative” includes the spouse, child, grandchild, stepchild, parent, grandparent, stepparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or in-law of the person now deceased or of any other deceased former holder of the call sign.
