The District Treasury Officer is empowered to approve the Date of Birth of a goverment servant as per the following provisions: – • The Date of birth recorded in the service book should be treated as final. • If the above condition is not fulfilled then the gradation lists of past 4 years should be made basis for the approval. • If the above 1& 2 conditions are not fulfilled then, • In the case of fourth class employees and the teachers: – On the date of appointment, the age is considered as 18 years and thereafter 44 years of service is added for the calculation of date of superannuation and on the basis of the date of superannuation so arrived at, the date of Birth is approved therein • In the case of class I,class II and class III officers / employees: – On the date of appointment, the age is considered as 18 years and thereafter 42 years of service is added for the calculation of date of superannuation and on the basis of the date of superannuation so arrived at, the date of Birth
