What are the pros and cons of Universal Health Insurance under “state” control rather than the “government”?
State health insurance would allow other states to monitor how effective it really is, and when it is mismanaged people (and businesses) can leave and go to another state. Federal health care would place an undue burden on a budget that is already in enough deficit, would lead to unbalanced taxation, and would make every doctor a government employee which would eliminate patient choice as well as raise overall costs. None of the candidates are offering government health care. Hillary would just force everyone who could afford it to buy health insurance from the same companies ruining everyone while subsidizing it for those not in the tax bracket of her choosing. Obama would leave those who could afford insurance but choose not to buy it the option of opting out, which place a significantly lower burden on the overall cost and probably yield better results.
