What are the pros and cons of the Philips Magnavox 32MF338B?
Positives: I know my fair share about electronics and technology, especially TV’s, and when I was doing research into which models were worth my hard-earned dollars, I have to admit that this one wasn’t terribly high on my list. But to my surprise, it’s turned out be a great value. The set has got really crisp picture, along with vivid colors, and no distortions whatsoever. The blacks aren’t the best out there, but you can’t expect the world from a $500 set I suppose. I’ve come across a lot of review for this exact set with sound issues, but thus far I haven’t experienced any myself. It’s not terribly loud, but for my purposes, it suites me just fine. I would recommend that if you were placing this TV in a fairly large room, get a sound system to accompany it, and it’ll mare than make up for it’s shortcomings. I also have the TV acting as my computer monitor, which works perfectly. No complicated set-up needed, and all you need is an extra 1/8” headphone plug for sound. What not adver
