What are the pros and cons of testing medicine on animals?
Pros, it’s deemed necessary to check if they are safe before using them on humans. Cons, animals are not identical to us in every way, something that seemed ok might provoke a different reaction in a human. Such a thing happened not that long ago, the volunteer’s heads swelled up and I believe one died. Plus it’s cruel and I hate it. Why not test on volunteer lifers as the do in the States?
