I’m glad you capitalized it. Very helpful. Cons: The system can be inflexible. Fair allocation of resources can mean that the rich who would otherwise receive special treatment do not receive special treatment. It can be difficult to start a new business, and it can be difficult to dismiss incompetent employees. Taxes are high – in Sweden, the richest people pay 60% income tax. Pros: No one dies for lack of simple medical treatment or lack of housing. Minimum work conditions are guaranteed. Education is made a central part of the state budget, not an ad-hoc affair like it is in the USA. You cannot be fired without cause. I should point out that just like anything else, socialism can be very nice or very nasty. It depends on the implementation and the culture of the people who choose it.
