What are the pros and cons of sending children to public school vs. private school?

In contrast to the person that said her smaller private school merited more one on one time and less drama, I went to a GIANT public high school. My graduating class had about 2,000 people in it, close to 6,000 people total. (We had four buildings total. There was almost no social hierarchy because it was IMPOSSIBLE to know enough people to ever have relevant gossip to spread rumors, and you could never know enough people to consider yourself “popular” and have anybody care, because you only know a few people in each class, and everyone has their own friends. We had literally hundreds of student associations and I think it made it much easier for people to find a niche without judgment. Furthermor
