What are the pros and cons of multisourcing while comparing to the single vendor outsourcing ??
The advantage of multisourcing is that you have reduced exposure to one particular vendor. Another benefit is that the vendors will have to be competitive in order to earn your business. Also, from a business perspective, it allows you to be flexible. Of course, the flip side of it is that you have increased overhead to manage multiple relationships. Another challenge, especially in the IT market, is to have clearly defined scope and SLAs for each vendor and also how they play with one another in order to meet your requirements.
