What are the pros and cons of LOWERING minimum wage in USA?
I think you can’t lower minimum wage unless your gonna lower the cost of everything else. People can barely make it now, some aren’t. How will they suppose to get to work everyday with these gas prices on less money? Let alone try to feed their families. Have you ever tried it? I think not or you wouldn’t bring up this nonsense of lowering the wages of people that can barely survive as it is.If you lower cost of living then maybe youd be on to something, but the cost of living goes up 3 times faster than poor peoples wages. It would be great if we could get some companies to come back in the States but why should the poorest of classes have to pay for them? First, they screw over our working class by leaving and then the poorest of the poor must pay for them to come back? Funny how the people with money are always trying to cut down the people without it. EDIT: The minimum wage may be high but it HAS to be considering the cost of everything else in this country.
