What are the pros and cons of living in Brookyln New York?
First off, the crime rate in Brooklyn is low and the same applies in New York City. But, as a rule of thumb, when it gets dark, avoid parks, industrial places, near some shore lines and keep an extra eye out in some places. These are the Pros of Living in Brooklyn: There are no stupid tourists here to bother you. We have so many things to do, such as Coney Island, we have the Cyclones (baseball team), parks, etc. The traffic here is not bad. There are a lot of bus lines to get you around. We have livery cabs, and those cabs cost less than yellow cabs. Some areas have subway lines running through them. It’s cheaper overall to live here. Everything is not as crowded as Manhattan. People here are nicer compared to Manhattan. We are real New Yorkers. There are plenty of bodegas if you need a few things such as milk, breat etc. Brooklyn is not a hard place to get around.
