What are the pros and cons of immigration raids?
PROS: only anti-immigration activist see it as a good thing! CONS: 1. U.S. Companies are crippled by raids. The workers they rely on are taken away, and they are also fined for hiring them. We have only heard of ONE plant where people lined up to take the jobs the illegals were leaving behind, but they were only other immigrants. 2. Immigrant families are torn apart, and American Families are disrupted. A lot of U.S. Citizens have ties to illegal immigrants. 3. More tax payers and consumers of America are taken away in our time of need. Illegal immigrants pay billions in taxes, and make billions in purchases. The taxes they pay and don’t claim are a big reason why Social Security and Medicare are still around. 4. Legal and illegal immigrants are dramatized with the way these raids are carried on. Most raids result in screaming, crying and a lot of times brutal force.
