What are the pros and cons of extruded and stamped aluminum heat emission plates?

I use extruded aluminum emission plates for ALL sub-floor hydronic radiant floor systems. Having used stamped plated, no plates (staple up, suspended, etc), and even tried the infamous (and nearly worthless) bubble-foil, extruded emission plates are 175% better at transferring heat than a bare tube. The difference in extruded vs. stamped is more about consistency and ease of use, both topics dear to my heart.
