Cons: It encourages children to ignore the scientific method. It discourages children from questioning what they see. It teaches things which are proven beyond all reasonable doubt to be false. It is not science. Teaching children that it is science will confuse them about what science is. It is a huge step backward in human advancement. It gives creationists undeserved and undue professional respect and influence. It encourages children to start with a conclusion and then find facts to support it (rather than the other way around)- It discourages impartiality. It encourages children to believe that opinion is fact. The teacher teaching the subject will get ridiculed to the point of resignation. Parents will object to their children’s minds being poisoned. It will be a stepping stone to other pseudo sciences such as astrology and ghosts (just as valid as creationism). The country will be the laughing stock of the modern world. Pros: It keeps the creationists happy. Children like fairy
