What are the pros and cons of being a public school teacher grades 6-12?
Being a teacher can be incredibly rewarding. However, if you’re wondering about the pros and cons, it may not be for you. You can seriously affect these kids lives, and if you’re good, some of them will love you for it. You might even get letters from a couple, telling you about how you inspired them to get into science or something. That’s great. You’re making a positive change in the world. Good for you. Also, you get a few months off every year, which doesn’t hurt (even though you’ll likely use it for training or classes or another job).
