What are the proper storage conditions for essential oils?

Essential oils must be stored in a DARK (out of sunlight) and COOL (away from heat) location, to prevent from rancidity. Undiluted essential oils should be kept in a tinted, glass container to help block the sun. Note: All of the essential oils that we sell come in an amber glass bottle to maximize their storage.
